Terry's 4.65 Million Debt
« on: January 13, 2012, 09:30:07 AM »
Wonder why someone earning £170.000 per week has to re-mortgage his house three times?  Terry now has a mortgage debt of 4.65 million, which must be worrying at his age.  What is he spending his money on[?]

In fairness he could earn enough to pay the mortgage off in about 27 weeks

Maybe the Sun should emigrate - one of the primary characteristics of EPKs is an insatiable interest in the finances of others. It is fairly conceivable that at the level of earnings of Terry, the return on investments is way higher than current mortgage rate - you don't need to be an accountant to work out that if your investments are doing well in a low bank rate environment, a mortgage can be financially far wiser than buying a house for cash  ;)

Not only the Sun carried this story.  Lots of other Newspapers, but I heard it first on Sky News
when they intimated he may have some personal problems and that he is known to be a heavy gambler.
Note from the story also he has re-mortgaged his M.I.L's home too!!
