Http 500 server error
« on: June 07, 2012, 14:35:27 PM »
Twice I have attempted to modify my profile to add my avatar, my flag on the map and my D.O.B. On both occasions after pressing change at the bottom right the CB box above the toolbar has had the little spinning thingy for a minute or so then gone to HTTP 500 server error. Is it me or what?

Unfortunatly a http 500 error does not tell you much. Only that the server you are contacting is aware of an error but does not know what it is!

Just tried again on my ultra slow clapped out laptop and "lo and behold" it seems to have worked, Strange as the http 500 error was a "timeout" error.

Did you clear your history and cookies from the one that you are having problems with?

Ah but you cant change avatar which uploads to the forum, add to the map which writes to the database and DOB which it verifies on Google all at the same time
