new to Turkey
« on: June 27, 2012, 09:33:11 AM »
Hello everyone
My name is Helen and I moved to Turkey in January after realising Turkey so much better for me personally than England was. I have been told about how helpful this forum is for newbies like me so look forward to endless hours reading posts for information I need and getting to make new friends hopefully.

Have rented an apartment in gunlukbashi for a year as that will be long enough to decide if this is the right thing for me but i already know it is.

Now starts the joy of learning the language  :)

Hi Helen and welcome to the forum. You have done the sensible thing, renting first. Hope you enjoy living in Calis and if you need any help or info there is always someone on the forum who's "been there and done that" to advise.
