read, read and read all the posts on here regarding buying a property before you commit to anything.

This is the section you need.

Hi

I have just joined today and made an offer on a property in September 2009 which legally went through in January 2010
My experience was to sort out many estate agents 7 in total I spent a week viewing 4 properties in the morning and 3-4 in the vening from 5pm onwards.
After 4 days I listed 5 I wanted to do second viewings on and spent 1 day viewing then I made an offer which was accepted and then sourced my solicitor who was very helpful and professional she is based in Fethiye.
I think you ned to find the area you want to buy into first then do some research on agent.I would also suggest avoiding buying off plan just incase you get your fingers burnt.
Anyhow good luck.
