Lovely touch today on stage 14 when Bradley Wiggins showed great sense of character as  "General" of the Tour to slow down the "Peleton" to allow   Cadel Evans (4th placed) to catch up after multiple punctures as a result of an idiot throwing tacks on the route.  :(  :)

Nearly there now !, still Wiggins and Chris Froome unchanged at 1+2 despite a challenge yesterday from Vincenzo Nibali. Today's final mountain stage is the "crunch" day apparently !. Let's hope Bradley and his team of "bodyguards" can do it, can't take anything away from Chris Froome either, he's been amazing also !, great team work and personal sacrifice, as he has the talent to win it himself !  :)

Allez ! Allez ! Allez !   :)

I was a racing cyclist as a youth and loved to read about the Tour de France. Indurain, Merkx etc, and our own tragic Tommy Simpson, but this is absolutely amazing, to have Brits at 1 and 2 is beyond the wildest dreams of most cycling fans.
Top show Bradley and Chris, this is up there with 1966 and 2003.
