Mary Howarth & Alec's wedding
« on: July 01, 2013, 08:56:20 AM »
Later today, I'm heading back to Blighty, where, along with Pi55y & Captainsquiffy, I'll be attending "the wedding of the year" up in Ambleside on Wednesday.

It took you a while,    ;) but congratulations to you both. Health, wealth & happiness always & here's to Alec's retirement in December, when he can finally join you back in Turkey.

PS The chess board is all packed & in the case.

It certainly was, though, unfortunately, we didn't have too much sunshine, at least it stayed dry & a good day was had by all.

No doubt, when Chrissie gets back next week, she will probably post a piccie or two, 'cos I ain't that clever

Am now back and the wedding was wonderful - a lovely, lovely day in a fabulous location and the weather held out so someone was looking down on this lovely couple.  Yes will put on a few pictures later today   :)

Ambleside one of my fave places in the Lakes.  To get married there must have been wonderful. Look forward to seeing the photos of Alex and Mary in all their finery.

What a place to have your wedding. May it be long and solid (your marriage!).
