Tinx - I'd love to say we're both GREAT! Unfortunately I can't, however, we're still here! lol

Both had numerous health problems over the last few years, nearly lost Carl a few times. Lost count of the times he's been in resuscitation, we got to know all the 999 ambulance-men by first names.

Thankfully he's pretty stable now except on his legs   :) His knees and hips have gone & we were told to maybe get a wheelchair for him by physio - he has needed knee surgery since December but everything is dragging on & nothing gets done. Physio boss decided that our docs. request for MRI wasn't going to happen as nothing too bad could be seen on XRay - Dumb person! That's why doc wanted MRI. Have to go visit doc yet again to tell him that the MRI he wanted is on hold & ask if he can do anything else. Of course to see the same doc we'll be waiting a month!  >:(

Come to the conclusion that the NHS has gone down the tubes. I waited 2 yrs for a bone spur to be taken off 1 shoulder, that was all they could see on XRay. I was in SO much pain but consultant kept giving me steroid shots, which didn't help, before deciding he needed to operate to remove spur. Again no MRI done to see exactly what the problem was. I came around after the 30min op which turned into a 3hr+ one to find he'd had to do a complete rotator cuff repair and go down my arm to repair tendons etc. A 2-3 day recovery has taken 2yrs+ and I'm still not right. Told not to drive for at least 3 months - great, if you live 6 miles from shops with no bus service & other half is forbidden to drive! The other shoulder (same problem) I have to wait until this one recovers before he'll even look at. That's my excuse for not posting in last few years!

OMG the above sounds like we're a pair of really old decrepit f.rts! Well, I suppose we are! ;D Thank goodness we still enjoy each others company! Other than the above + a few more probs. we're grand!

Hope you & yours are fine, along with everyone else out there. I feel ashamed we haven't kept in touch with everyone but felt I didn't need to burden anyone with what we went through. Apart from that I can't type for too long - as you can tell from the shortness of this - Yeah, right!

That's the trouble when you ask people how they are, they tell you  ;D

Best wishes to you both   ;)

Keith - it's the QUALITY NOT quantity that matters. Note - I am replying in 1 post  & still saying far less than I used to  :)

Oddly enough I was also thinking of you the other day!!!

I'd think about you too - if I had any idea who you are?? Sorry, I can't remember a Shamless2 - give me an idea so I can keep you in my thoughts too.  :)
