Pack as many of your personal bits as you can, and a minimal amount of clothes..... There are so many charities selling so many fab clothes, II wish I'd brought more home stuff and less clothes.

Any advice then on what I should bring from UK ? Anything I am going to miss and find difficult to replace? I have already decided no point in bringing my Dolce Gusto coffee machine as more than likely pods would be impossible to find !! Dohh...

Can you buy Dimplex heaters over there?  I have one in my office and I can only have it on its lowest setting or my office gets too hot.  That's right through the winter too.  They're inexpensive and efficient.  Admittedly they'll use electricity but not loads and they'd be cheaper to run than most options.  If you can't get them there then I reckon there's an opportunity for some enterprising ex-pat...   ;D
