Hi
« on: December 04, 2013, 08:33:59 AM »
Hello! My name is Helen and my family and I came to live in Ciftlik in September. My husband Mert is Turkish and I've got two 12 year old boys who are going to Ata school in Fethiye. After living 20 years in the UK my husband was more than ready to give living in Turkey a try! Loving it so far. Would love to meet a few more people though...

Hi Helen and Mert, best wishes. Are you in Ciftlik village and I was curious how well you knew the area before moving?

Welcome to the forum. Ciftlik is a lovely little village. We often eat there and do most of our shopping at Melissa's

Hi Helen & welcome - we too had twins (girls) at Ata School in Fethiye, up until around 5 years ago - they're 13 now. They (and we) loved Ata, and recently went back for a look round which generated some great memories for them as they hadn't been in Turkey for over three years.

I hope you enjoy the forum  :)

Welcome to the forum Helen, Mert and boys, I'm sure it won't take you long to make good friends there. Keep us all informed, it'll be interesting to see how your boys get on in Turkey! Kids always seem to be so happy there.  :)

Hello Helen, plenty of things going on over Xmas and New Year so a great chance to get out and meet others. The Xmas fair in Calis on Sunday is a nice day out.
