Change to mains sewage from septic tank
« on: March 17, 2014, 14:35:40 PM »
Hello, my name is Janice and my husband and I have owned a property on a small complex in Calis for the last 10 years, usually staying in Calis for 3 or 4 months a year.
Last year main sewer pipes were installed in our road and now block paving of the road is imminent. It seems logical to link up to the main sewer before the new paving is laid as we have been told this will become compulsory for all residents and if we don't link up a fine will be levied.  However, I cannot find any information relating to this. Does anyone have any infromation regarding this issue?

They put the sewer pipe down our road and a T piece to the complex gates, which is what they did to all the houses round our way, so they will not need to disturb our road if we ever get one. We were linked to the mains at a previous home 14 apartments we had to pay the council approx 1000tl for each apartment  6 years ago.
