Really agree with most of those - especially right back and limited options and I would play Lambert with Sturbridge as he is what I call "a consistently lucky player!!!"

I think we do have the players to scrape into the top 8 - just - but it is all about tiny tiny margins - here's hoping :-)

If Costa Rica play like they did against Uruguay, we are on a hiding, and this team would be lucky to scrape into the last 80 anywhere Ian. :(

Rooney either needs to play at no9 or 10, or not at all, no good on the left as he keeps coming into the middle to pick up the ball - leaving no outlet on the left! Baines must now realise how good Cole was at left back and what a hard act to follow. Gerrard struggled, but midfield was just not good enough in any case.

That's a great idea especially if England kick off at 7   ;D

Think Glenn Johnson is having a bad time as is Rooney,  would get them off, give Stevie the benefit of the doubt because he is pass perfect,  as for the pundits, get rid of most of them,

As said last night Italy had their chances and took them.  England had lots of chances and did not take them.
Why was Joe Hart so far out of his box, we were both screaming for him to get back, just as well Phil Jagleika was there or it would have been 3 for Italy.   I am nervous about Joe Hart.

Hart was in the correct position. 9 out of 10 stikers would have struck straight shot toward the far post. Hart had this covered. It was Balotelli's brilliance to chip it. Jagelka was expected to cover, and thats exactly what he did. Great skills from Mario.

Never Hart at fault, is it.
