Sorry to those who have not taken their summer holidays yet, but we need to start talking Christmas already, as the Calis Christmas Fair is now such a big event, that we have to start organising things early.
The popular Christmas Fair takes place this year on Sunday 7 December and bookings are now being taken. We are asking stallholders to book early to avoid disappointment.
The colourful festive event, now in its eighth year, which is organised by our charity, will again be held in and outside all the bars and restaurants on Çalış seafront. The fair is now an established event in the social calendar of Çalış with thousands of visitors attending from all over the Mugla area. Last years event was the biggest and best ever with 220 stalls selling a wealth of traditional Christmas decorations, cards, unique gifts and presents as well as a wide range of beautiful hand made craft items, jewellery, cakes, paintings, flower arrangements, stained glass, wrought iron wall art and a treasure trove of other gorgeous goodies. There was also a number of charity stalls from across the district raising money for various good causes.
All money raised from the stall fees (net of table hire) along with sales from the 3C’s committee stalls goes towards the Çalış Children’s Charity, helping children in the local area.
