Finansbank

Negative report I'm sorry to say.
Having been a customer of this bank for the last 12 years, today my experience reached a new low. Yesterday I was informed that I can no longer use the services of the three ladies on the top floor as I am no longer eligible, fair enough. Today, I returned with my husband as we wanted to close a savings account and move money from it into a daily account, held at the same bank. I could not do this yesterday as we both needed to sign. We arrived at the bank at 15.00hrs, were promptly helped by the same lady as yesterday on the first floor, we were then asked to take a seat in a vacant booth and offered tea whilst the money was transferred, many more customers came and went whilst we kept being told 10 minutes, 5 minutes...We left the bank at 16.20. Needless to say we probably won't choose to reinvest here in the future.

What makes you 'eligible' to use the top floor services

This must be recent - never had an issue speaking to the folks on the "upper" floor, irrespective of balance.

I believe the top floor is for club Finans exclusive card holders. you have to have 100k minimum in account to get this card.

Yes that is correct. The top floor is for the xclusive customers but in the past they did help most English customers but the bank has clamped down on it as people were complaining that they had to wait ages to be served so what was the point of being xclusive if  anyone could use them.

I once stayed in the Swiss Otel in Berlin where you had to swipe your room card for the lift to take you past floor seven, they did however have an executive lounge on floor eight serving great food and champagne all free of charge. I think Finans should follow this example. (-:
