Maybe it is ok to charge Brits more, if the owners are really nice.

Was the  Turkish menu products, exactly the same as the British menu?
lots of expats eat there, and the food is very good and never heard any complaints
and the owners are lovely people.
Actually, the owners aren't lovely people IF they are blatantly ripping people off. I won't be in there again.

Have heard from a friend who lives in Fethiye that the Mulberry Tree did do cream teas for 20TL.  However, they are now charging an extra 4TL for the tea, so a cream tea with tea is now 24TL.    My friend tells me two of her ex-pat friends used to go every week, but have now stopped after the new charge of 4TL for the tea.

Returned to the Mulberry tree today as we were all hungry and tired and it was the nearest place to us, also my Mother-in-law did love the fish. I also wanted to question why there menus were different prices. We asked the older guy for menus to which he brought back 4 English menus. My hubby asked him for Turkish menu to which he replied 'we don't have any because we're getting new ones printed in Russian and Turkish,' I then called the English owner for a Turkish menu to which she replied 'yes no problem' waited 5mins, said lady walked past our table said nothing so i asked again to which she replied 'sorry i thought we had some here but we are waiting for new ones with new prices and we always print the English ones first,' hmm is that because they are more expensive? Turkish menus mysteriously disappeared anyway!

Rana, They would not have got my business again.  So many good restaurants in the area.  Why not try the Apple next door or the Pasa Kebap opposite?   Or the Lemon H20 opposite the Post Office?.

Yes jacqui i agree but we were tired and hungry and didn't want to walk around in the heat looking for a place to eat we hadn't  been to before, we'd had a long day. Also we looked at the menu for the Apple tree and it looked liked snacks. We weren't aware of the other ones you mentioned.  We did have a lovely meal on the main road called ' Hani Baba' a little expensive but nice. Yes legless that did come to mind after the menus disappeared.
