Hmm, I have a photo of Haci and it does say Hagi.  On Facebook he is called Haci.  So, I am confused.....

Can there be 2 ways to spell it?

Was in Fethiye last october wearing a pair of light tan slip ons and a dark brown belt. Saw a belt in a shop that matched the shoes perfectly so went in and bought it. An hour later I am eating near the duck pond when Haci comes round looking for work so I gave him my shoes.Ten minutes later back he comes with my shoes buffed up dark brown!! Gave my friends a great laugh that did. But he is a smashing wee bloke!

Ah, thanks for that Scunner.  Mystery cleared up.    And Ron, the same thing happened to my husband's shoes.  And yes, he IS a smashing wee bloke.
