Title: Advice needed
Post by: Duzzer on November 04, 2018, 13:46:46 PM
Ok so we have an offer accepted on an apartment, obviously want to do it the correct way. We opened a bank account when over in Fethiye so we could do the rest of the buying over in UK. Should we get a solicitor or do we just use the estate agent do deal with all the details.

I would say that it depends on The estate agent.. We had no trouble at all with ours but a lot have an absolute nightmare.  I would use a solicitor recommended on here.. It might cost you more but it could cost you everything in the long run.

I would probably agree - a good estate agent can do it all for you easily (unlike the UK) but you do need a good (honest) estate agent.

Then you will have no problem at all. They sold ours and we bought off them. Justine and ilhan will answer any of your questions..and put your mind at rest. Really good company, long established. Enjoy your property x

We sold a villa on the monday and bought a new one on the friday only with an estate agent, we didnt see any need for a solicitor when we had a good estate agent who did all the work for us, both sales were done and dusted in one day each with not one problem !!  ;D
