With the flight prices being sky high (pardon the pun) - are you looking elsewhere? Or sticking with it...
We will be there for our now traditional 10 days in October having booked flights when they came out at 5am(Easyjet). Way more than I'd hoped but cheaper than elsewhere.
We have decided at last that lovely though Jiva Beach is, we aren't there enough to justify the cost so for 2020 we will revert to an earlier format which is 3 days in Fethiye, then across to Calis for a week. Mutlu this time - we have stayed there before and think it is excellent - good breakfast, seafront location & sea views. Also something that seems to become more important each year - lovely and quiet.

Bargain, cost cheaper than a flight, thanks to jet2 will be enjoying week or so in Olu Deniz in September.
-
Nice one Bernie

Booked for June and September. Flight prices cheaper than for many years thanks to a heads up from a good friend.
Accommodation in September more that we would have hoped but hey-ho. Accommodation for June to be finalised but we are ever hopeful.
Where else would two OAP's go. :)

Dingwall ? :)

Dingwall ? :)
Could you not have suggested that before I spent money :( :( :(

We are booked for a week in October at the Alesta Yacht Hotel - although it was such a bargain through Sunshine.co.uk, I will be amazed if it happens :)

Were off to Calis from 15 th june for almost 3 weeks excellent flight very cheap deal from LGW with B A when they first put them on sale day flights as well. FAT transfers booked. hotel booked gone up £ 2 per room per night :( first increase in 5 yrs so not to bad )but nothing to pay them till we arrive ,

Calis Beach again for us in October, this time at the Oykun (again). We were intending to have a week at Jiva Beach again as we did this year followed by a week at Oykun but the increase in Jiva price (30+%) was unacceptable, so we are back for two weeks in a place that we like so much.
As you say Keith, the Mutlu is a good hotel.............I might see you this time, having missed you at Jiva Beach this year. :)

lynee , that's a nice find thank you, on the face of things both me and Amanda could fly from Manchester return for 14 nights for just under £300 each which is,
nice, now to find a nice hotel in calis for a reasonable rate and we are good to go me thinks
-
Booked a month through easyjet from Liverpool. £418 next year against £534 this year so well happy with seats and 23kg each.
Luckily we booked on the release day which was before TC went under.
-
Only one trip for us to Calis next year late May, as other things planned, and going self catering for the first time in 11 years. Looking forward to the freedom of an apartment.
-
Booked a week at Mutlu mid May £1177 for two, bearing in mind it was £970 if we took flight only !
Doing Spain in July £300 for two but have free Accomodation.
Looking to do Calis in September but not if the prices are still that daft

Certainly hope so Maria :) :) :)

Due to my own stupidity missed the easyjet release of the september flights and when I got the email 3 hours after they were released they wanted £1,250 for 2 return flights from manchester which I'm not prepared to pay.
Checked again this week and though still dear the flights had come down £300 and have now booked for 15 nights staying at the Oykun for about the same price as I could get a package deal.
There is a chance the prices may come down more but I am just glad it is now sorted & we can just look forward to our holiday :)
-
Calis still very much on my radar, just weighing up May or September.
I'm doing a week in Dublin in October as part of my Xmas pressie with tickets to see Simply Red. Never been before so looking forward to a city break somewhere new as well as a few pints of Guinness of course!

My and my husband have ten nights booked in Kardamena, Kos in June on a package holiday with Jet2.
We (me, my husband and my parents) have a fortnight booked late July/early August, staying in a villa that we regularly book in Koca Calis. We are flying with Easyjet and booked the flights the day they were released - more expensive than last year but not by too much. Then my parents will be coming back out to stay in Calis Beach in September. They booked that package holiday with Sunshine.
Roll on the summer :)

Definitely Sticking with Calis, booked flights back in September for 2 weeks starting in late July with EasyJet, just under £360 pp with 23kg & seat allocation so slight increase on last year but still a decent price compared to some being mentioned. Staying at Lissa Links again, 206 days and counting 8)

Nothing booked for us this year yet, usually do 3 trips .
Hubby noticed our joint account looking rather healthy before xmas, I reminded him thats because we haven't booked any flights and if they stay at these stupid prices he'll have to fund the account some more!!
I'll not be paying the current prices when i could fly half way around the world for the same amount...pure greed feeding off the back of TC.
Reminds me of years back when it was put to Keith to charter a flight for the forum , If my memory serves me right I think that was down to airlines going bump.
fingers cross theyll drop but if not we'll just pick elsewhere or go via Istanbul.
-
A lot better than I thought for 2020. LGW-DLM March £85 and 2 weeks mid May £231, both return EasyJet.
-
We have our usual two holidays booked both flight only with EasyJet.
May/June was booked on the release date but our September break I absolutely refused to pay the asking price
Low and behold they opened a new route from Glasgow and I managed to get flights cheaper than I'd paid in May.
Well chuffed😁

Well Travel Republic won the day, again.
2 weeks in early May, flights with EJ from Gatwick (late pm going out & mid afternoon return so not too bad), b&b at the Malhun again, total with 23kgs of luggage each was £730, good enough for me!
-
Booked a one bed Apt in Sunset beach for eight weeks May to start of July, no flights booked yet, will hold off until last minute if need be. A good start to retirement. me thinks.
