If you are a meat eater Rana, try the Kavurmali. It is small pieces of braised meat.It is very tasty and juicy.

Where is that please Ally B? The one on the other corner on the junction looks very nice and popular too. They always have the food cooking in the open grill as you walk past. Not sure of name but on our list.   :)

Sorry RANA I didnt make myself clear. The Kavurmali is a type of pide sold in the Dunya along from Meri bar. I have never before seen this in any pide place in Turkey. It is well worth a try.

Kavurmali is a pide topped with meat that's been fried rather than cooked in the oven on top of the pide.

Ally B you did make yourself clear. It was me, I realized after I'd asked you that it was a type of pide not the name of a place. I was about to add to my list of eateries to visit :D

Rana the one on the other coner with the grill could be the Mehtap Lokantasi. We have been four times over the years and only had one decent meal. Unless you go early season or you are Turkish the service is rubbish.

Yes Ally B we sat down at that one last night, the place was empty and the same pide as Dünya was more expensive as were a few other meals so we left and went back to Dünya.  :D
