« on: August 11, 2015, 11:43:36 AM »
Just returned from turkey for the second time this year managed to find a last minute flight with thompson on the new 5 week old dreamliner aircraft what a fantastic plane. As i booked the last seat on the plane two days before going they up graded me to premium class all for £218 return.Never ever flown with thompson in 30years of first going to turkey,so there are deals out there if you are flexable and can just pack and go.Fantastic plane, great service, and we got to dalaman in 3hrs 10mins very fast.

Great but Thomson's don't fly from our Airport and as far as I know they do not use the Dreamliner in Scotland.
However, glad to see you had a good flight.  Where did you fly from?

We flew on the Thomson Dreamliner to Mexico - and really looked forward to it, as did the kids. I thought it was alright, nothing special other than it was quite new. Kids were diappointed I think too.

We flew Emirates to Abu Dhabi on the Dreamliner, apart from being with a much better airline,  even in Economy the journey was comfortable, but nothing special   ;)

We're going to Florida in October on the Dreamliner. I've heard mixed reviews about it. Been on line for a virtual tour of it. I'll reserve my judgement I've flown on it.

We flew back from LA on one in June and I was vastly under whelmed! I found the leg room poor and the seats reclined much to far. On top of this the TV screen does not tilt - so in order to view it you have to recline as well!

The window 'blinds' were excellent though - just a pity the staff didn't tell anyone how to work them.

Give me an A380 any day.

Stoop i was upgraded to premium class and was very impressed with the feet rest exersiser or foot rest head and neck rest and the cabin mood lighting was nice but as you say the window blinds were abit hi tec to use,all in all for what i paid i was over the moon.As for leg room i had 38inches between my seat and the one in front, now you cant complain about that.

I was very impressed with the dreamliner business class, more so than the 380 which I found very noisy due to the amount of people
