Right folks I think I have sorted this out.

Bewva - I gave you number 16 which meant that there was only 1 of the 26 numbers left.

This has been taken by a member who wishes to remain anonymous and who offer to taken the remaining numbers when I said there were still 22 left. A fantastically generous offer but but by no means the first made by this member over the years. Thank you so much.

List to follow shortly.

And the winner is, I am delighted to say is lotty.

The smallest of good news.

We were at a function last night so didn't see the contest but it sounds like Australia (stuartT) came a very good second.

Thanks so much to everyone who took part in such a rushed fund raiser and helped the children.

I had planned to do a sweep stake for the European Football Championship but it would have clashed with the Auction which is the 3 C's major fund raiser.

The Auction is a huge amount of work so let's all try and make sure it's a great success.   :)

Thanks again

Yes well done Lotty and thanks to Highlander for  organising the competition at  such short notice.
Personally I really disliked the winning song, too much screeching and no tune  whatsoever - still what do I know as loads voted for it  :-\

Thanks for doing it, John.

Will send pennies in the usual way.

I was robbed!   (though what Australia were doing there anyway is beyond me)  : )

However, pleased for Lotty, of course.
