Title: Badger: I Never Thought ...
Post by: Colwyn on May 07, 2015, 14:52:56 PM
... I would find myself doing this.

Our local community association asserts that the protected land where the baddies want to build is the site of an active badger sett; they say it is a disused fox den (pah!). So we are trying to prove the presence of badgers. A couple of day's ago somebody found badger hair under the fence newly build over their path. Yesterday I learned something else had been found. So, yesterday afternoon, I found myself taking close-ups of badger poo. I never thought I'd be doing that.

In celebration one of our members posted this badger video which I thought I would submit for one CBF member to enjoy, or squirm about.

We have badgers that come into the garden all the time.  They live in a badger set which is next to the foxes den.  I was told years ago now, that badgers and foxes usually live very close together.   When the badgers come into the garden at night we can walk right out and stand next to them, they have very poor eyesight, as long as we are down wind of them, they are not aware we are there.
