Title: Do I Still Need A Visa?

I am travelling to Turkey on 8th January, my residency expires on 9th January, I will be renewing my residency whilst there and before departing to return to the UK. So as there will be a few days that in theory I will be in Turkey without a compliant residency permit, will I therefore need to purchase a visa upon arriving?

I'm pretty sure that you have 14 days grace after expiry, so you'll be OK.
