Hi
The  Hotel Mediteran is under renovation, pool gone , jetty gone, rooms gutted.
I think it might be under new ownership, not sure.

Try looking on travelrepublic  web site several on there  from £450 for 2 rooms  in Calis, also look on Holiday click web page,   under £ 500.

Thanks everyone for all your replies

I spoke to Alpha rooms yesterday, after 30 minutes trying to get through. They were unable to tell me what the technical error was....  so it would seem from what you guys tell me its because Mediteran is undergoing renovation!

They said they have offered an alternative, ie the Ovacik Hotel, but I tried to explain theres quite a difference between a hotel in a bustling working town overlooking a marina, blah blah!

So they kindly said I could have a refund - free of charge!

I am trying to demand that they find an alternative in Fethiye or Calis, not Ovacik.
They put me on the urgent pile, which apparently means a call back within 24 hours

They have an hour left, then I'm afraid its Consumer Direct!

I doubt we will get anywhere, and then I will look into some of the alternatives you guys have suggested

thanks again!

Linda

after much being kept on hold, people not ringing back and general annoyances, Alpha Rooms have agreed to change our booking to Harman Hotel at no additional cost to us.

The reviews on Trip Advisor are really good and I'm very happy with the outcome, roll on July!!!!!!
