Help where am i going wrong with my scones used to be able to make blind folded ,they just dont rise here useing s/r flour  small pkt of vanilla raising agent just wont rise ,[?][?]:(

try using baking powder, and not the vanilla or maybe use both

The vanilla sugar is a flavouring not a raising agent, you need to use baking powder as well as jul bri has suggested. Good luck

The Vanilla packet is Vanilla sugar not baking powder.
