Left Calis yesterday and meant to take photo for posting, but sorry, with everything else to do, forgot! Anyway, the bridge can't be far off completion now, but work is erratic! It now has a road surface and railings, but still stops short! The end closer to Calis has been filled in ready for resurfacing and the shuttering has been removed. Lorries have been delivering rock, which is occasionally pushed into the void at the other end by a bulldozer! There is some water underneath the bridge, but the river needs re-routing pretty soon - then, I assume, the other side can be completed. They could finish it quite quickly if they actually worked at it! In the meantime there is a temporary wooden bridge to get across the river, but you take your life into your hands going up and down the slippery bank!
