The seafront this morning after the storms, looking very green...

The James Bond set continues to grow, can anyone tell what it is yet?

It looks as if "little Venice" is finaly to be demolished..

And finaly a quick peek at the work in progress at the bridge

Thanks for the pictures Phil, hugely topical and informative.  BTW what's Little Venice?

And I cannot help but follow up on H's point on Carry On Camping, by recommending you view this scene from the carry On Camping film, one of the funniest film moments ever .. Peter Butterworth deserves an Oscar here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrQpe7q03vA.  I reckon that I've also encountered a few Turkish Josh Fiddlers in my time as well:D:D

Nice photos.  You can't quite see from the ones of the beach ,that the storms have littered the Fethiye end of the beach with rocks again.  I hope they are careful if they do something with 'Little Venice' because the waterways around there are home to hundreds of terrapins ( I think they're are terrapins rather than small turtles but I'm open to correction ).

It's the local name for derelict site near to the Pelin hotel. It's been there for at least 20 years and was never completed. The nickname comes from the fact it was designed with litle waterways and bridges around it.

Also known as "Mafia Houses" due to where the owner/finance came from to build them. If you take a walk around them you can imagine them if they hadn't been abandoned and left to fall apart - it would have been brilliant. People could literally go by boat from their own house up the canal and off for the day. People wouldn't like the name "Mafia Houses". I think they prefer things like "Orange Apartments" or "Rose Villas" really.
