Must be very skilled pilots - looks like precision work!

Heard about the fire planes yesterday.  Does anyone know where the fire was and if there were any injuries/fatalities?  It certainly sounded as though it was very serious.

Just on the outskirts of Kemer I believe.  Not heard much more about it...hoping no humans or animals were injured.

Fire was near Kemer  3 planes in total used plus the 2 helicopters but they were getting the water from a source closer to the fire. Haven't heard or seen any reports yet, maybe in the Fethiye time web site later or tomorrow.

The 1st plane that went over was just doing a quick look see, making sure no boats around before the others came in, not much room between them and the hotels. Remember a couple of years ago, I was sat on the balcony and they planes came down the street, from Tansas to the bay, couldn't have been more than 10 feet between the villas and the planes. These pilots are  unbelievable.

When those planes were flying back to the fire, full of water, they flew direct over our place, and how they avoided hitting our solar tank as they slowly gained height I will never know.

Great pictures by the way.  In the third picture where he is scooping up the water, I can see a boat just ahead of the plane, so no margin for error..... Gutsy flying
