Banksy has rekindled my interest in Art. A very talented guy with his finger on the pulse of real life. :)

Wow, £365.00 for print. I have been at Auctions and seen original oils, water colours etc., for less than this.
I have bought original pictures by Scottish Artists. A lot are regional, which means they will make more money in the place they were painted as the Aritist is loved in that particular place..
However, we all buy what we like and it would be a dull world if we all liked the same thing.
This is Nathan Meadows, a Sunday School Teacher who was gifted this Oil Painting for his services to the church, painted in 1860. I pay £16.00 for this Oil that no one wanted (pictures of men are harder to sell) about 25 years ago at an Auction. Never tried to sell him. We got to like him and he is now part of the family. As I said we all love something different.

I have to agree with you Highlander. They are pretty startling in their stark way. I have a "less is more" sort of taste, so can see the attraction. :)

It's the way he captures the wonderful light we have in this part of the world which I find so appealing.

Looks like a Scottish Banksy

My first observations were that there are no shadows. There are, on second observation, but very black and white. Beautiful. :)
