Title: English Electrician coming to live in Calis

I am planning to return to live in Calis next year and maybe looking to do some part time work is there much call for electricians .

Post by: Scunner on November 01, 2013, 22:16:03 PM: Why shouldn't he do a bit for fellow Brits? People make and sell pies and there are plenty of people doing pools and the like for a bit of cash. I'd wonder what sense a British electrician might make of some of the huge clumps of wires that can be found behind some of those blanking/access plates over there :D

I would keep it word of mouth though - there are plenty of people over there who want you to do well. Until you do ;)

And for me .how many times have I been asked to "Just take a look at my aircon system"

Thing that strikes me though is that we all complain about foreigners coming over here and undercutting our workers/working for cash in hand, not paying their taxes, etc so don't be surprised if it upsets the locals.
