So here we go with the 2022 fundraiser.
If you love Calis and it's people please consider taking part. It is for what I believe to be a very good cause - helping kids who have very little.
For those who are not familiar with the how the fundraiser works you simply just have to choose a date (or dates) between 1st and 25th of December.
Behind each door on the calendar is a monetary amount – 10 x £ 7’s, 10 x £12’s, 4 x £ 17’s and 1 x £ 25.
By choosing a date(s) you agree to donate the amount behind the door. You can, of course, donate more.
I will open a door each day starting on the first to reveal the amount behind that door.
If things go as well as previous years we may try and fill a second calendar and/or the 12 days of Christmas fundraiser.
All proceeds will go to the Calis Children’s Charity.

jan deli - here are the most recent activities undertaken by the charity.....
They are still helping Elif the girl with the hairy naevus on her face. This is involves flights, accommodation etc. and is expensive.
15 bursaries ongoing.
They have a new application from a school in Esen it is a special needs school. They are in need of a pump as there is an area within the school that fills with water that is a danger to the children.
Also they want shelving for shoes this should be no more than 2,000. They also require 2 air conditioning units at 12,500 each so an extra 25,000 .
This one is currently under consideration.
There is a nursery school called Esen in desperate need of a nursery assistant.
They have asked us for help in paying for one as no other funds forthcoming. They have asked for 1,500tl per month to help pay for one.
Also an organic garden was approved for the patlangic school.

From facebook for jan deli (and others)......
A massive thank you to everyone that supports the 3cs Calis children’s charity.
Here are some of the wonderful projects and the children we are supporting, without your help of raffle prizes and donations we wouldn’t be able to achieve what we do so thank you very very much.
December 2022
An application has been to help a 2 year old girl born with dwarfism, we will pay for a year towards physiotherapy twice a week and other treatment.
A school in Uzumlu has opened up an auditorium and have no chairs we are going to help the fig charity and the Uzumlu childrens charity with this.
Camkoy school has asked for help to set up their music room the students are all reading music and need instruments to practice on, we have said we will help them with this and are so grateful that we have also have had some wonderful donations of instruments.
November 2022
Ciflik school have asked for donations of dart boards, if anyone has a spare dart board the school would be very grateful, please let us know if you can help.
We have had an application for a 3 year old boy with Autism, he needs rehabilitation therapy, we are going to be helping him and his family with this request.
We visited Patlangiç School on Wednesday 27th July.
Part of which is for an organic garden. The school is busy building away this exciting eco friendly garden, we had a lovely time visiting and speaking with the teacher who’s passion for this project was amazing.
We will be supporting the school and helping them with collecting garden tools, books and plants we are awaiting a list, if you have any garden tools at home that are old or you have upgraded and don’t use them, and you would like to donate to this project please contact me and I can arrange to meet you for the donation.
On a monthly basis we pay the following,
We fund a 7 year old boy with autism who has violent behavior. This is each month for 1 year.
A Syrian baby with hearing difficulties. We pay a monthly treatment.
A child with epilepsy. We support every 3 months for treatment in Antalya.
We pay for 15 bursas (fees)for children to go to school or university.
We are extremely grateful for your contributions and continued support for the charity.

Now that the Advent Calendars Fundraiser has run its course and we are well down the road with the 12 days of Christmas I thought I'd put out a plea to existing members who may have missed the original request and to new members of the site to make a donation however small.

Advent Calendars and 12 Days of Christmas Fundraiser 2022.
Apologies for the time lag in reporting the total raised. For I am sure very good reasons, I am waiting for two or three people to get back to me.
The total raised so far is £ 845.00.
Given the difficult times we live in, I am extremely grateful to all those who took part be, it on facebook or on the Calis Beach Forum. Your generosity will help the charity to help under privileged children in Mugla
