Title: Indoor Pool s and things to do on a rainy day
Post by: sue mac on October 09, 2008, 10:23:52 AM
On our way next Friday with 5 children, ranging from age 4 to 13. We are aware tht there is an indoor pool somewhere, (think its sonmez?) but has anybody any information on any other indoor pools, or places that would be good to go on a rainy day..thanks

Sue, the Orka Hotel has an indoor pool, with changing rooms etc.  There is also bowling in Oludeniz and the cinema if it does rain. Hope the weather is good for you, we have another 2 weeks to wait.

Hi millie, the cinema's are in Fethiye they quite often show english films. I believe they are called Hayal and Doruk, but no doubt someone may correct me if I am wrong. Although you may not want to be going to the cinema whilst on hols but it gives another option for the kids. Having said that ours really enjoy their October holiday, despite the weather, my daughter was in the pool last year nearly everyday, even once during a shower. They also use the Orka indoor pool but I do prefer the sea at Oludeniz as it is warmer.

2 weeks to go

David

Hi Sue - There is a bowling alley in Olu Deniz at the far end on the front.  I havent been but know friends that have, it's something to do if the weather is bad.  We will miss you I think as we go 25th (think our half term is afer yours).  Have a great time.  The sea breeze also has a mini golf area which is free and a good way to spend an hour with the kids.

Have a great time Sue, I don't think I need to say I'm very jealous, say hello to everyone for me.  Is it too early to start the countdown to May 2009?
