Yet another 2 teenage girls gang raped and then hung from a tree... It appears that there is a rape reported every 22 minutes in India but the real total will be much higher due to the shame element.. I was reading that this is much more common in the lower cast groups... What with the pregnant Pakistani woman stoned and battered to death in fornt of a crowd by her own family because she wouldnt agree to their choice of a husband... Female equality has a long way to go in these and many countries... and will probably never happen... Why cant they see the horror of how these murders are seen by other shall we say "more civilised" countries... I haven't been able to get this off my mind today.. It seems that the student gang raped and butchered last year has had no effect what so ever....
