With the seasonal shutdown in full flow this weekend across all of Fethiye, does anyone know whether the Shine is open this Friday, 6th November? Wasn't sure whether they were going to close for a month and then re-open for weekend Friday and Saturdays, in which case I am out of luck this Friday or whether I'm in luck cos he hasn't closed for the season by then.

I would doubt that they will be open. The last 2 / 3 years they have closed for the whole of November, reopening Fridays & Saturdays from December onwards

Off topic question I know but we tried Shine for the first time last month and it was excellent. Service was not rushed and the food was delicious. ;D

Liz 101 is correct.The Shine closed last night and will reopen on Friday and Saturday nights in the first week of December.

Thanks all. Much as I suspected. :( So will have to think about somewhere else to eat on Friday pre quiz in Hissy. Any suggestions?

There's only the little kofte place on the roundabout that I would ever recommend. Simple kofte and salad in half a loaf. 7 lira.
The rest (that I have tried) are over priced, mediocre quality establishments with indifferent service.
