If you have any vouchers from Christmas I can recommend this book, it has some great Turkish recipes from his TV series. ;)
(Never knew this section was here!) I suppose it could go in recipes and food - but it's both really.

I thought one of his best tips was to put greaseproof paper in the pan first if you are shallow frying fish. Skin side down first until it is a little bit crisp and then turn the fish over and fry for a couple more minutes. My daughter and her family eat at his Padstow restaurant and says the food is lovely.

I had the book for my birthday in November and have been really inspired by it..we had a Turkish theme for our open house on Christmas Eve and everyone loved it! So much better than sausage rolls and vol au vonts

Yes, I have a few cookery ebooks, but this is one subject where only the hard copy will do. There's just something about sitting and turning the pages to culinary delights! (sounds good doesn't it?) I like to see the photos and browse through the ingredients and methods. It doesn't work so well on iPad or online really. I read cookery books in bed like novels :-[.
