Day Return ? Hardly worth going !
-
opppsssssssssss should have said day time flights 14 nights on Thompson Gatwick and Glasgow flights other airline flights a mix of times based on 14 nights
-
I understood what you meant blueclad.
-
Basic prices - doesn't half jump if you want to take clothes with you.
Still good price but not our dates unfortunately. :(
-
I noticed lots of really cheap deals from Scotland for a change
-
Well I dont know where these prices from Scotland are. I've sat online for days trying to get reasonable priced flights from Glasgow or Edinburgh, and by the time I added baggage and booked seats together, it was £500 for 2 from Glasgow on 6th June for 11 days
-
Totally agree toky - no offence blueclad but advertising a price of £ 143.00 return is a disgrace if they want £ 54.00 per bag per passenger and x, y and z for seat allocation, meals etc.
-
Yeah blueclad, why bother posting a decent deal when all you get is dogs abuse from folks because it doesn't suit them...
I just went through to passenger details and for two weeks from Glasgow, on the date the man said it worked out at £153rtn per person including 20kg hold baggage. A cracking price for daytime (09:45 out, 17:15 back) flights.
Seems like you just can't please some folks.

Dog's abuse JohnF ?????? What a careless, flippant, over exaggerated statement!!! I merely wondered where he got those prices. Hardly dog's abuse for God's sake. My experience was for 11 or 12 nights, hence I didn't find the prices that Blueclad quoted. I'd have been delighted with those prices if I was able to go for 2 weeks. Wind your neck in John and it would be better if you kept your comments in context rather than making banal comments.
-
Truth be told I wasn't meaning you... but I must commend you for the highest number of adjectives in one post I've seen for a while :) although I do take issue with "banal". I don't mind being accused of many things, but please, not banal.

Oh and... 11 days in June £194 Inc 20kg ;)

-
For our dates it's £ 580.76 return for 2 including baggage.
-
All the above prices could be reduced considerably if you are prepared to walk.
Thanks for the info' Blueclad. :)
-
Is "dog's abuse" a much used phrase in Scotland? I had to look it up to find out why it was found so offensive.
-
I had actually used another term, however the swear filter kept kicking in - and my New Year resolution is to stop circumventing the swear filter by the clever use of numbers and slight mis-spellings ;)

These prices got me thinking. I think we've been a bit spoilt in the past with low cost airline prices. When I think back to when my kids were small, we paid a lot more money then for a holiday than we do now. I've just accepted the cheap flights as norm now, rather than feeling lucky when I do get a bargain.

What is this Jocks happy hour? ;) I remember the bonny Scots lassie Toky telling me once to wind my neck in, now its the Super administrator John F s turn, I bet her favourite movie is E. T. ;) :)
