Title: Best half bread in town
Post by: Toky on June 06, 2016, 22:49:43 PM
It's a must on our first night especially with a late flight. Good to be back @ Gunisik

A trip to Gunisik/Frank Cannons should be compulsory for those arriving late from the airport.

Not jealous.

After reading all the posts about Frank Cannon's I talked Phil into going one night last year.  I gave it the big CBF recommendations.
Well, it was O.K but we were wondering what the fuss was all about.  I think we must have missed something somewhere?.  :o :-[ :-\

Nope! It's definitely a no frills place, just good food at great prices....

Realised it was a no frills place years ago, but thought there the food must be magic.  Food was very nice, but I have had very nice food in lots of places.  Perhaps it is like a snack bar to use after a long flight and the food tastes extra special then?

It's the only place where the welcome is  legendary whether it is 1pm or 1am. Hatice"s half bread is packed full and coupled with an ice cold beer served in an ice cold glass, well at midnight after a flight full of greetin" faces weans, what can I say. Bread from heaven indeed!!!!
