if you have sky in uk you could bring the box and pay each month for sky
but you need 3 metre dish to pick it up (thats about 1000£)
and some where to put it.
just sat are members here, you could ask there advice
if not get digiturk, a few english programs on there, costs from 19ytl standard package
a month more if you want film channels.

When we got Digiturk installed over 2 years ago, we paid 1 years subscription up-front,& saved 2 months payment. (i.e. 12 months viewing for cost of 10 months). Not sure if this deal still operates though?? Happy viewing.
Gordy.

Depending on what you want.... from about 130 YTL for a portable to about 3000YTL for top of the range big screen and all of the types and sizes in between. Turkish made brands cheaper than imports But perfectly OK. :)

If you are looking at a good quality branded Plasma in the 42" style, I got my Philips from Istanbul via Marmaris (via Burger King) last year - it is now available in Eren Spot for around 3000 YTL. Far better quality than many, HD ready (for what that is worth here at the mo) and looks good.
