How is the new promenade extension coming on?
Not been mentioned for a while are they still working on it or has it come to a standstill?

When we were out there in June there was very little progress from when we were over at Easter.We were able to walk most of the way from calis getting down to the sea road at the new official building(sorry dont know exactly what it is)However it is not an attractive walk until you get quite a long way along,encountering mounds of rocks,rubble and seeing the odd rat!!
It will be fabulous when it is finished and then we will reap the benefeit.Possibly considering getting bikes to enjoy it even more

The new "prom" has reached from Fethiye to as far as the bend just before the Tax Office,and has garden areas which are looking good. There is already a restaurant operating near the Tax Office, don't know when it is due for completion, or what will happen when it reaches the "Bird Sanctuary"
