Gas Barbeque
« on: August 23, 2007, 08:18:29 AM »
Anyone know where to buy a gas barbeque?  We decided to buy one in June and thought it would be as easy as getting one in the U.K. - Totally wrong.  We found a couple in the Office Furniture shop on the Tansas Road but they were really expensive.  We then decided that gas barbeques must not have caught on in Turkey?
If anyone knows the answer would be happy to hear.
Jacqui.

Jacqui, further down past the Ofis Furniture shop, there's a glass fronted shop on the right hand side that does BBQ's. It's by the fitness center.

Hi, Thanks for that, but if this is the Barbeque Shop on the same side as Tansas, we did try there but they do not sell Gas Barbeques.

Yes, it is. Sorry, don't know any others in this area myself. If you have credit card you can shop online at www.alisveris.com or hepsiburada.com

If you are worried about the delivery address, you can use the restaurant address and you can pick it up from here.

Personally I would visit Metro but the nearest one is going to be Bodrum. If you find a trade supplier on the net, we can always order it for you on your behalf.

We saw a gas barbecue for sale outside a hardware shop in Gunlukbasi. It was on the corner of the road that runs up to Uzumlu. There is a bakers on the other corner. Not sure how many types they stock.

Thanks very much will give that one a try.  Can't understand why there are not more outlets for gas barbeques when the weather is so good in Turkey.

Gas is expensive for Turkish especially when there's an abundance of other materials at hand to burn naturally.
