No, I think the cunning plan was to offer to do it for nothing, knowing full well nobody would make two guys work a whole week or so for nothing.

If we could adopt a "one price, one chance" approach, things may be better for all involved. Don't chance your arm, give a price you are happy with and don't think there will be any opportunity to requote.

Won't happen though will it :(

That sure would make life soooooooo much easier, if enough of us start it then they might get the idea.
First though I think it would cause a lot of bad feeling.
The current situation drives me up the wall, knowing the Turkish wage rates just gets met with 'ah but this is Calis/Fethiye/Dalyan wherever. The whole 'negotiating" process is just so exhausting.
