As it only takes our supplier about 10 mins to get to us when we ring him I don't think it's a real problem (only the efes delivery is quicker ;)). However I do like the idea of an indicator. I might buy one myself - saves shaking my bottle:D

Air con should be more than enough at this time of year....although a back up of a gas heater may be useful in the event of a power cut. Ball park figure is about 200 YTL and are readily available just about anywhere in Fethiye and will be delivered. :)

Can someone give me a rough idea how much a large gas bottle is?

a 'normal' size gas bottle for cooking use is now 43.50YTL, I'll ask about a large bottle for you Lorraine.

Don't forget to ensure your gas bottle is operating at the correct pressure too Barry. 28 bar is about right for the small ones. They will not supply the required throughput of gas at lower pressures, and won't work at all at "noebar"
