Hi Grant

Pretty much all of them will be more than happy with that and make you very welcome indeed.

It's when families turn up and make themselves comfy around the pool with a cool bag full of sandwiches and drinks that they get a little upset - and yes, it does happen believe it or not.

As Scunner says most of them do but I also think it depends on the time of season and if the hotel is full. The area around the Hotel Kerim pool never seems to be full. Cavfan, Laffa , Humbug and me have parked our a.rses there, amongst other places , in the past , and it was just the job. I'd give that a try. It's near the side of the river where you get on the water taxis.

We were always thought the pools were empty until May, but last year in April I was staying with my cousin and her pool was already filled up when we arrived on April 9th! I braved it a few times but was a little chilly, I probably looked like a right tourist!

We did a tour one year of the hotels in Calis and had a scoring system for cleanliness, ameneties, food , sun exposure( the more the better) and staff! I cant remember which came top but I remember we had fun trying them out. Think that the Area did ok although you had to keep moving your sunbed round to keep in the sun, that was inconvenient!
Maybe Laffa can remember!
