We are coming out to Ovacik for the New Year, can anyone recommend  a good place to celebrate on New Years Eve?

Depends what type of night you are after Jack. Apparantly Levissi Winehouse stays open for a lovely romantic night, but if you want some action, Aloha Bar opens for 10 days over Christmas. Apparantly there are quite a number of bars in Hisaronu that will open for Christmas and New Year, so I should imagine you will find somewhere lively! regards, Sue.

Four Seasons in Ovacik have a party night on and have taken bookings already. The price is 20 YTL which includes a complimentary 1st local drink of your choice and a full open buffet - hot and cold starters and main courses.

Always a good atmosphere in here :D

Just like to say, we went to Four Seasons last New Years Eve and was a little bit disappointed. We got there about 8 o'clock, by about 11:15 the party was over. The food and entertainment was excellent, and we were just getting into our "party stride", when about 11:15, everyone started leaving to go down to the town to watch the fireworks, so they played "Old Lang Syne" about 11. As there were only about 6 of us and the staff. The staff said that would close and everyone go down town. We thought that maybe it would be going on until 2 or 3 in the morning as we were having a good time. Not moaning but were a little bit disappointed that it finished early.

we went to Shanghai Blues last new years eve, and it was excellent  value  and the staff were amazingly efficient  considering it was a `full house` it was  very atmospheric, and just before  midnight we had a belly dancer going around the tables  :-)
after midnight,  just wander down the main drag and you will find plenty of lively venues.
We ended up in the london bar   ... turkish dancing with our  english and turkish friends til 4.30am  !!!
We are over there again this new year  hoping for the same :-)
