Hi Tony and Sue, thanks for the advice. Thought it would be a bit of a mini holiday for a couple of days in August (more so for the girls than for us - we're more than happy to be in our apartment in Calis!). Managed to book for 2 nights at the St Nicholas Garden Apartments that Nuttybird recommends - £10 each for b&b per night for two rooms. Not too bad for August (save Garry having to do the dishes for a couple of mornings, lol!)
Most places appear to be fully booked especially the cheaper places.
It would be cheaper to get a taxi, but you've seen the state we can get in after a few efes - we might be safer just to stay there, rather than attempt to get our family home in a taxi!
We probably wouldn't go back for the second night in a row either
It looks a lovely place with evening entertainment, so hopefully will be okay. Anyone got any reviews on this place?
