SHINE INDIAN HISARONU
« on: June 20, 2009, 15:14:18 PM »
still the one and only.. we have eaten at a lot of these buffet ones both in Hisaronu and calis but to be honest no one cooks indian like Hasan the owner. he comes round the restsaurant and talks to you and tells excellent jokes....just ask him.
The atmosphere is lovely, relaxed and unhurried and the food quality is superior to other places.
He is a real chef having trained alongside famous restauranteurs in the uk and even going to india in search of new ideas(and a good holiday !!!!)
If you go there once - you will agree and you will keep on going.
so easy to find, just get off the dolmus at the top of hisaronu and look left....up the stairs .
be prepared to queue at the weekend such is its popularity.
my fave dish is the butter chicken

Buffet or not Buffet it doesn`t matter, if you want a great indian meal pay it a visit, you won`t regret it, it`s 1000% better than the make believe indian in Calis

I always was of the same opinion but after the last couple of times when every dish we got after waiting nearly 2 hours tasted the same really hot and spicy even the chicken Korma, when we complained the 2nd time he was quite rude.
