moving to turkey

hi im thinking of moveing to ovacik can anybody tell if i need to be a resident to ship my furniture over and bring my 2 dogs over thanks

You need a residency permit to import your furniture.

Nigel you also need residency to bring your dogs into turkey,they ask you to produce it this end before you take them  out of dalaman. worth every penny though !!!

Yes you can get a residence whilst in Turkey and no, you do not need a residence to bring in a pet. Remember that it is one dog per passport holder though.

In that case he cant get a permit but he can get a visa but as stated before, its a waste of time as you will still need to get the blue book once in Turkey.

you do not need to be resident to bring your dogs in..
you can apply to the tukish consulate in london for a 1 year entry/exit permit,forget the cost,but allows you to get your furniture etc before you become resident.this doesnt allow you to say longer than the 3 month tourist visa though.just giving you a bit of time to sort yourself out when you get here..good luck
