It amazes me that there are certain types of people out here who think/assume the expats don't talk to each other, quite often they are connected to the housing industry.

At the request of a quite impressive number of Uzumluites, I have to report that British people in Uzumlu would much prefer you pay back the money rather than try and pose as someone who wants to help Brits. There's plenty of good Turkish people to turn to before you.

Good luck with the new restaurant, although there are probably better locations than Uzumlu for you to open one - Iraq for example.
