We have today been to Uzumlu school to see the items they have bought with our final donation from the Cadianda Quiz Nights.
They are now the proud owners of 2 new ceiling projectors and screens and a Laser Jet Colour Printer. This means every classroom now has projectors, linked into computers to aid lessons.The headmaster said today that Uzumlu school has better equipped classes than some schools in Fethiye.

Since we started fund raising in the summer of 2007 we have paid a huge amount towards the Lawyers bill ref: the Cement Factory Fight. When that had been paid we started raising money for local children's projects and Uzumlu School has received a colour photocopier as well as the above donations and Incirkoy School has received a Computer System. We also raised well over 1000tl towards the Dolphin Fund in the summer of 2010.
Today's donation brings to an end the Cadianda Quiz team funds and Eric and I would like to say a BIG thank you to everyone who has supported us and attended events over the last 3 1/2 years, we could not have raised all that money without you.
We as a couple are now looking forward to doing what we came here to do and that is to Retire and get out of local politics.
