went to our local Post Office in our town today, they were only offering 2.37!!!   i will try again in the week as it appears that the rate goes higher during the week...

M & S only giving 2.44...

If you look at the Post office online Sunlover they offer a better rate, I think it was 2.47 online when I looked this morning.

The rate is usually better here ... change only what you need for immediate expenses before you travel and do that at the airport on departure and then change the rest when you arrive here.

i think the orignal post was asking what is the rate in Calis today to compare with what is being offered in the uk. I have never got the coin mill rate whilst in Turkey

Our first trip this year back to Calis is booked for the end of May, so from previous years experience I expect exchange rates to remain at the current levels until mid-May !
