Diesel is far cheaper than WD40 and ISN'T easily flammable. (It's safe to light a fire under a truck's diesel tank to warm the fuel in winter.)

I am aware of this ,just tickled me a little.(Worked with trucks all my life,still do) Saying that , I remember when I was about ten, boiling petrol over a camping gaz stove so it would clean my moped chain better.(See the scorch marks on my dads garage)p.s You can then use WD40 to remove the diesel stains .lol
